It is puzzling when God proclaims His intention to create humanity with both His tzelem(image) and His demut (likeness) while in the following verse Man is created only in God\u2019s tzelem.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>The puzzle increases in Genesis 5:1 where Man is described as being created in God\u2019s demutbut not in His tzelem, and again in Genesis 9:1 where Man is created in God\u2019s tzelembut not His demut. The root word, tzalamor tzelem refers to the original imageor imitation. \u201cIn our image\u201dis translated from one Hebrew word betzalmeinuand is again used with a plural pronoun \u201cin our image\u201dindicating the plurality of God \u2013 \u201cLet us make\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:more --><\/p>\n<div class=\"swpm-more-tag-not-logged-in swpm-margin-top-10\">You need to login to view the rest of the content.
