The \u2018right to life of the unborn child\u2019 is protected by Article 40.3.3 of Ireland\u2019s Constitution (known as the 8th Amendment). The 8th Amendment recognises the equal right to life of the mother and the unborn child. Now the way has been opened for legalised child murder to occur in Ireland. But this Life and Death struggle is very far from over.
