The review stated that \u201cno one disputed that Sharia councils engage in practices which are discriminatory to women.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Baroness Cox questioned the government\u2019s response in the House of Lords.
