Deliver us, and purge away our sins, for Your name\u2019s sake.\u201d (Ps. 79:9); \u201cNot unto us, YHWH\u2026but unto Your name give glory, for Your mercy, and truth\u2019s sake.\u201d (Ps. 115:1)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n This goal is explicit throughout Scripture, and today, it is God\u2019s goal in restoring His people to His land. \u201cI will cause the captivity of Judah and\u2026 Israel to return, and will build them as at the first\u2026 And it shall be to Me a name of joy, praise and honour before all nations who shall hear of all the good that I do to them.\u201d (Jer. 33:7, 9a); \u201cBut I had pity for My holy name, which the exiled house of Israel profaned among the gentiles.
