Is He not speaking … or are we not listening?

How do we react when God seems to be silent? With impatience or frustration? (neither of them being fruits of the Spirit!) Or perhaps (speaking from personal experience), we go for a time without actually realising it! Sometimes He is speaking but we’re not listening (see Chris Hill’s excellent book “Speak Lord – but who’s listening?”).
